Summer is here!!! WAHOO!!! i LOVE the summer. the heat, the sun, and the water. oh, and of course, summer vacations. we've already started some of ours, well, hosting anyway, which is fun because you get to play tour guide (although, i never leave my house to explore the touristy, fun things about houston unless i have company). but we've made it to the beach twice already and june has just begun. and i'm sorry, cade, palm trees and beaches trump pine trees and snow ANY DAY!!

Looks like fun. Every summer my kids beg to go to the beach and we never make it. This seals it - I am taking them this year.
How fun! We need to make our way to Texas and see you guys. I am thinking I want to come in the Spring though, so I can see all those bluebonnets....so pretty! When are you guys making your way this way??

Oh my gosh, I could just eat Connor up!! I'm jealous that you live near that beach. I would rather live by the beach instead of the mountains too!

The Beach is so much fun! We are the same way about not doing real touristy things until company comes... what's up with that?? Great pictures!!
